We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Abolish the Electoral College

Created by R.M. on August 04, 2016

Your votes, our votes, do not matter.

A group of Electors choose the real president after the public votes, they are supposed to confirm and agree with the vote of the public.

In a few instances including 2000 they did not. In 2000 Al Gore got the public vote but the Electoral College gave the presidency to Bush.

This takes away from our democracy which is already compromised as it is by corruption.

This is our first step to making America a direct democracy like it should be.
