The antiquated process of electing a President via the electoral college needs to be abolished. For the second time in recent memory, the winner of the popular vote has been robbed of the presidency because of our continued use of the electoral college. We as a nation have outgrown this anachrositic feature of our government and need to institute an election process that awards the presidency to the whichever candidate is awarded the majority of the popular vote.
