The Electoral College is an outdated form of voting that made sense during America's formation years when the population was geographically separated and required the assistance of a "middle man" to represent them. In this day and age, we have the capabilities to instantly count every single vote in a truly democratic way that ensures the validity of every American's beliefs. Having government officials essentially render the American peoples' vote defunct in the name of an archaic way of voting is an affront to the liberties that we pride ourselves on. It is the duty of the American government to represent and act for The People when we cannot represent or speak for ourselves.
