For the second time in 16 years, the Electoral College has elected someone to office who the majority of Americans did not vote for. It is an outdated and inefficient election format.
This should be the start of a national campaign to change the way that we as citizens of the United States elect people to office. This is one of many challenges of our political system that no longer have any use or function in the modern American landscape.
This is not a new issue. It is one that has been proposed and voted on more than once in American history. Let us make it the last time that it is proposed.
