The electoral college has been a burden for this country for too long. When It was first introduced into the constitution means for transportation and communication were long and slow, in this day and age we the people need to have a majority vote. Many voters feel disfranchised as if their vote doesn't count if they live in a state of the opposite party, and a democracy should not have the person with the minority vote win. That is not a true democracy. End the electoral college now.
