Abolish the Electoral College

In the Constitution it states the people cannot be trusted to elect the President, this needs to be changed. Our country was founded on democracy, not under the rule of a monarchy. It is every American Citizen's right to choose who is our Commander in Chief is, not the government. The Constitution needs to be changed to abolish the electoral college and to give the power back to the American Citizens to choose who will run our country. We can united our great nation by ensuring all American Citizens that each and every vote cast during an election, is counted towards who will run our country. In a true democracy, the people choose the government and it's leaders, not the other way around. No government should have that much power over it's citizens. Abolish the electoral college.
