We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Abolish the Electoral College

Created by C.D. on November 10, 2016

I ask that you push Congress to call for a constitutional convention to add a twenty eighth amendment.

"The President is chosen by a direct, universal, popular vote.

A candidate who has received more than half of the valid votes shall be considered elected President of the United States. If none of the candidates has received the required majority of votes, then a repeat ballot with the top three candidates shall be held on the seventh day after the first vote. The candidate who receives the higher number of votes in the repeat ballot shall be elected President of the United States of America."

I ask for this due to the renewed debate over the electoral College. No matter who you supported, you must agree that the electoral College needs to go and the power must be given to the people.
