The Electoral College is an outdated system, that has repeatedly resulted in candidates winning an election despite loosing the popular vote. The presidential election is the only thing on the ballot that is not subject to the popular vote. This is a usurpation of power from the people.
This amendment to the United States Constitution should be put on the ballot and voted on by the people. This would ensure that the will of the majority must be represented in the process, rather than partisan politics within the House and Senate.
