We ask that the President forward to the Congress a proposal for a constitutional amendment to abolish the Electoral College and elect the President and Vice President by direct vote of the American people.
As it gives undue weight to small states at the expense of large states, the Electoral College is in violation of the principle of "one man, one vote." It would be unlawful if its existence weren't expressly provided for in the Constitution.
End this travesty of democracy once and for all. Let every voter count equally.
