Abolish the Electoral College

The Electoral College is responsible for many violations against humanity. They are most likely guilty of disregarding the majority vote in favor for the minority. The 2012 re-election of Obama is a prime example. It disappoints me that our Founding Fathers thought that an Electoral College would have "more knowing" about our country than the average man. Not everyone is going to think the same way no matter how much they know about our country. The Electoral College renders the right to vote pointless and it equivalently treats us like women and blacks in the early days. Unless the Electoral College can change their function to just count the number of votes rather than decide for themselves, they need to have their rear ends handed to them by the People.
