Abolish the Electoral College.

The Electoral College, though founded on the ideals of equal votes, is not equal. The Electoral college relies on population distribution and not individual vote count. We are called a Democracy but a Democracy is not what we are. If we were a true Democracy, we would be able to vote on every issue presented to America. We don't vote on every issue and our votes are not individually counted. The Electoral College even takes away votes from states and gives other states more votes. These votes are based upon the presumption that more people live somewhere else then where they actually live. This is false. The Electoral College completely destroys what we are as a country. We are not a Democracy, the Electoral College keeps us from being such.
