With today's technology able to tabulate every single vote as polls close and districts begin to report, there is no longer a need for the Electoral College and this country's antiquated system of requiring 270 electoral votes to win The Presidency. The United States of America should fully embrace modern technology and allow The President to be elected solely by the votes of the people.
