In the wake of the 2012 U.S. Presidential Elections, the sitting state officials in six key states have proposed legislation that will inevitably enshrine minority rule into law through the reallocation of electoral college votes. We the people urge the Obama Administration to push for incremental policy changes with the aim of abolishing the electoral college and enacting a national popular vote. The right to the franchise is the very basis of democratic rule.
