This petition is to abolish the electoral college system and replace with the direct popular vote of the people so that there will be no more problem of gerrymandering and no need for so many districts and so many representatives in Washington wasting taxpayers money. Electoral college system is a flaw that the forefathers never saw and it is now a big problem of either party trying to take advantage of gerrymandering in districts so that they can win without the majority of the popular votes.
