Abolish the electoral college and let the people's vote determine our leaders.

It is time to take our rights back. It is the popular vote that should determine the president, not the party majority of a district/state.
Our current system was created because In the 1700s, communication was difficult and it was not possible to collect votes from everyone living in the US, bring them back to the capitol, and count them in a reasonable amount of time. That would require huge amounts of paper carried to one central location for counting.
These days, the ability to communicate these votes from anywhere in the country to the capitol can occur in mere seconds.
It is time that we, as citizens, take back our right to elect our president by popular vote. Not the party majority of a district.
