Abolish the Electoral College and rely strictly upon the results of a general election.

The Electoral College was established by the founding fathers as a means of security in elections due to the common people being illiterate and uneducated. This is no longer necessary as we are an educated country. We elect our representatives to Congress solely based on the majority vote. Presidential elections should also be based upon the majority vote of the people. The Electoral College has become a biased organization that must be dismantled to truly represent the American people's choice in future elections.
