Abolish the Electoral College and the influence of which that determines the president of The United States of America. Thus by doing so in the future elections of which the people of the states vote only shall their votes decide which presidential candidate shall lead the country. By doing so the vote of the people and the people only will be the only determining vote that decides the holder of the presidency. With this the popular vote and the popular vote only shall count and the power of the people will be restored in the direction of America.
