Abolish the "electoral college" and use the "popular vote" as the sole decider as to who wins the presidential election.

To begin, the "electoral college" is outdated. While the Constitution was being written, the founding fathers had realized that voters had very few ways to learn about the presidential candidates. Thus, the job of choosing the President was given to the "electoral college". Today, however, this is simply not the case. In the age of digital technology, you can learn about every candidate with the touch of a button, considering they have large presences on various platforms, in an attempt to reach out to as many voters as possible. Not to mention, the "electoral college" is a "winner take all" in nearly every state, meaning those who disagree with the majority aren't represented. And, as seen in Bush v. Gore, the President can even be elected without earning the most votes ("popular vote").
