The electoral college is no longer needed in our great nation. We have the technology and the population to determine our elections by popular vote. The representatives rarely act on behalf of their state, and are easily bought. Popular vote will help our country become a true democracy, instead of the constitutional republic that we are now. Allow for all major bills to be voted on publicly. Also corporations and super pacs should hold no power over elections, if they try and buy, donate, or regulate any election they should be punished by prison time, a minimum of 25 years no parole. By prison time I mean the prison the poor go to, not the one for the wealthy. Our country is not for sale, we are responsible Americans. We can make our own decisions.
