The Electoral College is an out of date system for electing our President and gives more power to the 9 swing states than to the majority of the American People. This was created in the beginning of our country because the technology did not exist to hold a popular vote easily, however the intent of the Constitution is clear. All other elected officials are done by majority vote and the Candidate who wins that majority vote should become the next president.The President should be elected by a popular (majority vote).
