A petition to remove the electoral college as a means of electing the Federal executive branch and replace it with a direct popular vote that is used to elect senators, house representatives, governors, etc.
The electoral college allows the election of politicians who fail to garner a majority of votes and is prone to political manipulation at the state level.
By instating a direct popular vote of the President, political machinations such as gerrymandering used to disenfranchise the people are no longer possible.
