We now live in a global society where everyone gets information instantaneously. We should abolish the Electoral College and use the Popular Vote.
I live in a state where my vote basically does not count, because I live in a 'blue state' and they don't even bother to campaign here. Why should the 'battleground states' citizens' votes count for more than mine? That is effectively what happens. I would love to go see a campaign speech by ANY candidate, but I never get the chance, because they don't bother to visit. That makes my vote count less because they don't have to work for my vote, they just assume that they will win or lose my entire state based on an antiquated system of voting that does not work for our country anymore.
WE NEED FUNDAMENTAL VOTING CHANGES!
