In the interest of making the voting process easier to understand, to increase the amount of active voters, and to allow the voters to appoint the office of the President of the United States of America; we propose that the Electoral College be abolished in favor of a nation wide popular vote count.
This will not only serve to lessen confusion as to how the process works, but it will also increase the amount of people actively voting. No longer will there be an excuse of, "My vote doesn't really matter," because ALL votes will be counted and ALL votes will matter!
The citizens of the United States of America should choose the next president, not a small group of elected people, state by state.
Let the nation as a whole decide!
