A vote is a vote... we don't need a stinking electoral college!
Our current voting system in the United States is antiquated, and in a modern society, it simply makes no sense.
Every four years, our elections boil down to the results of several battle ground 'swing' states. With popular vote completely irrelevant, our candidates have to engage in a bizarre race to compile 270 electoral votes by piecing together the predetermined value of each "winner-take-all" stats. It's stupid. In fact, it's embarrassingly dumb... not fitting for a country which tries to be the example of "democracy" world-wide.
The POPULAR vote should be the only vote that matters. Let's get rid of these election shenanigans, REGARDLESS OF WHO YOU SUPPORT.
