PLEASE ABOLISH the electoral college system. Office of POTUS should be elected by popular vote with each voter properly identified and verified with picture ID and/or fingerprint PRIOR to casting their ballot, whether they be in person or absentee, with the ballots then being sent SEALED to 1 or 2 central locations for counting, much in the way of collecting tax returns. Elections for state and local officials can continue to be held and counted within their state of origin.
