The People of the United States do not need to rely on the electoral college to cast votes on their behalf in order to chose a new President. This process is outdated and leads to an inability to unify the people as it allows a candidate chosen by the majority of the population to lose the presidential race. The Presidential race must therefore be decided by straight popular vote from now on.
