The Electoral College System should abolished in favor of the individual citizen's right to directly determine, by their vote, the true desires of the same. When the Founding Fathers created the Electoral System, it was in an era when the population was spread out and quick and effective communication to each individual citizen was an impossible task. The Electoral College effectively worked but as the means to communicate quickly and efficiently came to be the Electoral College still continued and has caused the decay of the citizen's right to have a direct say in Their Government and who will lead them. Now, in the Twenty-First Century with the ability for each citizen to vote, easily and quickly, we still rely on the electoral College to indirectly elect our most important Official.
