Abolish electoral colleges and instate a true democratic election based on the popular vote.

The US was founded on the principals of democracy in that we follow the majority. A true democracy would state that the presidential nominee who receives the majority of votes should be installed as president. Yet twice in our history the president was elected without the majority of votes. By receiving electoral colleges both of these presidents were elected having lost and this is a complete destruction to our so called democracy. Yet we interject ourselves into foreign affairs and force other countries into democracy while we do not observe a correct one. This is the case of mocking by many foreign leaders including Putin of Russia. I am calling on president Obama to reform the election process in order that we can instate our rights as citizens to be involved in government. Thank you.
