These administrative agencies are currently far over reaching, and need to be abolished at the Federal level. The Waters of the US, new Ozone Standard, and new lowering of the silica PEL are perfect examples of both fiscally and technologically unattainable standards that businesses, manufacturing and construction in particular, cannot meet.
I propose congress defund and eliminating both the EPA and OSHA, and pushing these functions and duties back to the states to regulate within their respective jurisdictions.
The fiscal impact of these new regulations are grossly underestimated by the respective agencies, and both EPA and OSHA have ignored witness testimony, and factual data that proves their data to be incorrect and outdated.
