The EEZ waters are defined as federal waters extending form 3-200 miles offshore. Recreational Fisherman along the atlantic coast states are not allowed to possess Rockfish in this zone. We would like to request the abolishment of this EEZ for the purpose of targeting rockfish aka Striped bass thus allowing recreational and charter fisherman to target rockfish aka striped bass in these waters.
