The Federal Reserve is a private bank that has been given the power to create and issue the currency of the United States. This money has no backing except our faith in it and is paid for by the people in debt that can never be paid off.
By restoring the power of issuing currency back to the people and putting it on a standard of gold or some other reserve, our currency will become more stable and its buying power will stay congruent with whatever is reserved in it's place.
