Colleges and universities have adopted 'free speech zones' which impair constitutional civil liberties attendees should have in order to discuss, share, petition and cultivate their peers regarding matters of public concern. In essence, these institutions, which by most part receive some form of government funding and assistance, violate, subdue and in some respects persecute the constitution freedoms participants and enrollees have by insinuating, in their current stance and practices, that their institutions are likened to a personal residence instead of the public place that it is.
