We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Abolish the gay blood donation ban

Created by K.P. on June 15, 2016

Gay men are prohibited from donating blood and tissue regardless of their HIV status, if they have had sex with a man since 1977. Though Technology and society have both radically changed since the Food and Drug Association parenthese since the Food and Drug Association (FDA) implemented the band in 1983 , the measure, which still bands donation from any man who has had sex with another man who have had sex with another man in the past year, has not. Not only LGBT men get HIV, and this is an act of inequality . Since the blood donate it is tested for diseases, why should it matter that the blood came from a LGBT man. At the pulse shooting in Orlando, there were several victims in need of blood donation. They had to turn away perfectly usable blood donations, that could've helped.
