abolish the holiday of Valentine's Day and replace it with a second Thanksgiving.

Every year Valentine's Day reminds single citizens across the country of their current marital status. It makes people feel lonely, and ha sled to depression in the days leading up to, and following the holiday. We the people propose that we abolish this holiday and replace it with another Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time where family comes together to feast and celebrate the good in their lives. Thanksgiving brings people together in a beautiful way, while Valentine's Day isolates a huge section of the population with its emphasis on romantic love. In closing, I and many like me implore the Obama administration to abolish Valentine's Day and replace it with a second Thanksgiving on February 14th. Thank you.
