Abolish the income tax and replace with federal sales tax

This petition is to request that the administration abolish the Federal Income Tax and replace it with a Federal Sales Tax. This is going to benefit the country by simplifying tax laws, applying fair taxation to all economic levels of society, and will tap previously untouched sources of income for the Federal government.
Tax code would be simplified virtually eliminating forms.
All levels of income would pay their fair share of taxes. Tiered tax levels will ensure necessity items are not taxed while luxury items have a higher tax rate.
Untapped sources of taxes such as income not reported or dodged through loopholes would be paid. Income from illegal business would pay taxes.
By eliminating the Federal Income Tax and replacing it with the a Federal Sales Tax, taxes will be simpler, fair.
