Abolish the income tax & establish a sales tax. As you spend, so shall you pay. But do not tax non luxury food.

Sales Tax guarantees equality in payments as long as there are no exemptions except for basic food & items like soap, toilet paper, clothes washing soap, etc. No matter who buys it (individual or business) pays the same tax. If you claim the item as a business expense you should not be able to claim the sales tax. By using percentages it will keep up with inflation without having to change the amounts.
