Abolish the income tax on the grounds of the 5th Amendment, where you are forced to waive your rights by filing returns.

We the people, sick of unharnessed government spending that is both unconstitutional and immoral, ask that the income tax be abolished immediately on the grounds of the 5th amendment. According to the 5th Amendment the Government cannot force or compel one to provide information about themselves whether or not such information is incriminating. This goes without saying that Government cannot also require people to provide information that can be used against them for violations of civil or criminal cases. The 5th doesn't explicitly include civil cases in its verbage, but the supreme court in McCarthy vs. Arndstein (266 US 34) ruled that the 5th applies to criminal an.d civil proceedings alike. By being forced to file an income tax return you waive your rights to these protections.
