Abolish the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and replace the current federal tax system with a Value Added Tax (VAT).

Created by D.B. on December 28, 2012

Abolish the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and replace the current federal tax system with a Value Added Tax (VAT) system. The new VAT would be 15 percent on any and all purchases in the United States. No exemptions. Each time you buy something, your federal VAT is paid. No forms, no tax paperwork, no tax preparation second party companies needed.
No reporting income any more.
The more you spend, the more you pay each year. The former IRS would only need to keep a few people to enforce sellers are collecting the proper amount and turning it in as required.
