Mr. President,
We the people petition you to abolish the Internal Revenue Service in the name of liberty. As you know, President-Elect Donald Trump recently claimed he plans to eliminate the IRS along with other federal agencies. We ask that you issue an executive order doing this before he takes office for several reasons.
First, your legacy will be less tarnished due to this act of unparalleled wisdom and generosity.
Second, by eliminating the IRS you send a message to the American people that you understand the economic challenges they face and the burden that income taxation places on them.
Third, If you do this before President-Elect Trump, it would be one less accomplishment that he could claim, thereby minimizing his chances at re-election.
