Abolish the IRS and replace current tax code with the fairtax from www.fairtax.org consumption tax.

www.fairtax.org helps the poor, producers and savers, and taxes the wealthy way more on the expensive things they buy. Taxing consumption is genius because you don't penalize production or hiring or paying employees. The economy would take off and the IRS would be gladly gone for the irrational bunch of cornyism that it is. Everyone hates the irrationality of a huge tax code which is open to crony manipulation as is unfair penalizing of production. Poor end up ahead and people can choose to save pumping up the economy even more providing more investment capital. Should have been passed in Reagan times or earlier. Hong kong has nothing but 15% tax and grew at one of fastest rates in history. Lets copy success.
