Abolish the law that prevent a felon who has served his sentence to receive employment due to unfair background checks

A person who has been convicted of ANY felony is in fact going to serve a LIFE sentence. All companies require a background check that effectively prohibits any felon from being considered from a decent job. Some states have enacted bogus laws like the "ban the box" which only means you have to go through the entire employment process before the company can run a background check and disqualify the person. These events are causing people who have served their time, paid their debt to society, released then have to support their families to have no choice but to resort to illegal methods to do so. It is a spiraling situation that compounds itself daily. How long will it be before there are so many people who cannot acquire employment because of this situation our legal system will fall
