It is my firm belief that lobbying from big corporations should be illegal. It is human nature to be wooed by exorbitant gifts offered for what seems to be nothing. Instead, politicians are forced to adhere to the wishes of Big Business.
Take away this temptation and maybe politicians will start listening to those whose voices need to be heard, The American People.
Behind lobbying, Wall Street was deregulated; companies have been allowed to dump waste with no repercussions; the infrastructure has deteriorated.
Force Congress to make decisions based on what's good for the people, rather than their personal intrests.
