Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn's clear lack of scientific understanding became evident on Sept. 24th 2015 when she rejected the pope's comments on climate change, stating "The jury is still out saying man is the cause for global warming, after the earth started to cool 13 years ago." & Asked what scientific evidence would persuade her that climate change was a threat, she replied - "I don't think you will see me being persuaded."
Her inability to see scientific fact means she is not fit to lead as Vice-Chair of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. The administration should demand a full vote of the house of representatives in an effort to highlight her inability to lead and create momentum towards her ultimate removal from the post and as a representative of congress.
