Tuition for out of state students is far greater that the tuition of an in state student. This is due to fees added to accommodate for the lack of taxes paid to that state by the parents of the student. This restricts the opportunities available to many students across the country who are unable to attend universities they would be able to be accepted to and attend if not for the increased petition. If their parents pay taxes to their state, they should not be denied that opportunity.
