Proposal to end party affiliation and partisanship within the country. The nation is not satisfied with congress spending more time at odds with each other's parties than resolving our concerns as constituents. No more "democrats" or "republicans", no "GOP".
If partisanship were abolished, members of the Federal Government would be forced to put aside their differences and work on one singular platform to deliver upon their promises as elected officials in serving this country and its inhabitants, as opposed to themselves.
This would extend to voters as well, as they would be forced to carefully consider each candidate, and extrapolate who to vote for based on what is in their best interests as constituents; not party affiliation.
This is a call for a neutral ground between two polars.
