The Patriot Act is a direct violation of the 4th Amendment which prevents unlawful search and seizure. The Fourth Amendment (Amendment IV) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights prohibiting unwarranted searches and seizures and requires a warrant to be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause. The Secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court needs to be abolished which allowed NSA bulk cell phone metadata collection without a warrant thus violating the US Constitution. He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither - Benjamin Franklin. The Patriot Act is illegal as indicated by a three judge panel of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. We the people view the Patriot Act as the next step towards Orwellian totalitarianism.
