For the majority of our nations existence, we have been in debt to other nations. At this point, it seems like a colossal hill to climb and we may never reach the top, but there is one item being produced that is not, in the slightest, helping lower the national debt. It is something so minuscule, yet so impactful for merely being produced. This form of legal tender, this abomination known to all as the penny, must be discontinued if we are ever to find hopes in reimbursing the debts towards other nations by millions each year. A million may not seem too much when compared to the national debt's 19 trillion but it will add up over time. If your belief regarding the penny is similar to mine, then I implore you to endorse this petition.
