Teacher tenure guarantees a teacher their job regardless of their quality of work. This hurts our education system by letting bad teachers continue to teach without a consequence. The elimination of teacher tenure will encourage teachers to do their job well and allow the firing of those who fail to educate American children. Teacher tenure is a roadblock to capitalism and the strive to achieve greatness.
