The Postal Service has a "MONOPOLY" on mail delivery and most all of the mail people receive is "Advertisements" that are trashed either immediately or take up space in our homes and apartments. The POSTAL SERVICE is "OUTDATED" since most people no longer send letters to each other, due to the INTERNET, and most every "BILL" is paid online. Since the cost of stamps continues to escalate and at the same time the POSTAL SERVICE continues to lose not millions but "BILLIONS" of dollars each year, this is a service that has become so expensive and unnecessary that it is wasteful and inefficient and continues to become more so. Small companies can easily take up the delivery of truly necessary mail. UPS,FEDEX, DHL, have all captured the parcel business long ago. Its time to create new jobs.
