It is a known fact that the implementation of Daylight Savings Time (abbreviated DST) originated from the need of farmers to change the timing of their clocks with the variances in the Sun-Earth sunlight relationship. This is now an antiquated practice that makes life inconvenient for those in the non-rural world, and technology can assist farmers better now instead of relying on mechanical clocks to tell them when the Sun is out.
I propose that we abolish the practice of Daylight Savings Time due to its irrelevancy in the modern world, as well as the inconveniences it causes for those who observe it.
